2020

Allie Graham is a Western Sydney-based contemporary dance artist and founding member of SXAE. She is a key collaborator on the ensemble's upcoming work Bat Lake, taking part in their FloorPlan (Campbelltown Arts Centre) and March Dance (Glebe Town Hall) residencies. 

​

She performed in Catapult Dance Company's Mixed Bill in works by Adam Blanch, Omer Backley-Astrachan and Craig Bury. The production premiered at the Civic Theatre Newcastle and Monkey Baa Theatre Darling Harbour.

​

She performed in Opera Australia's Opera Gala at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne's Sidney Myer Bowl.

2019

She performed in Opera Australia's Australian premiere of Aribert Reimann’s Ghost Sonata directed by Greg Eldridge in the soloist role, The Milkmaid. The production premiered at the Opera Centre (Sydney) and toured to the Malthouse Theatre (Melbourne). 

​

Allie performed in SXAE's full-length work Old Life/ Dead Life at the Old 505 Theatre and the Io Myers Theatre. She also performed in their improvised work for UNSW's Arts Week Launch Party (hosted by Arc).

​

She performed as a soloist for Kay Armstrong’s Through the Lens.

2018

Allie performed in Opera Australia's production of Giuseppe Verdi's Aida (Sydney Opera House) directed by Davide Livermore.

​

She worked with Lee Brummer, co-director of ilDance Sweden and Rachel Erdos at Catapult Choreographic Hub. She toured Cadi McCarthy’s That Place Inbetween as a founding member of Catapult Dance Company.

2017

Allie performed internationally in Omer Backley-Astrachan's Valley in the Maholohet Festival (Suzanne Dellal Centre, Tel Aviv).

​

She performed in the Biennale of Sydney in multi-disciplinary artist Justene Williams' The Curtain Breathed Deeply (Carriageworks).

2016

Allie graduated from the Sydney Dance Company's Pre Professional Year Program, performing works by Thomas Bradley, Zachary Lopez, Kristina Chan and Rafael Bonachela at Carriageworks.

​

She worked extensively with Israeli choreographer Omer Backley-Astrachan, performing as a soloist in Valley (Sydney Fringe Festival).

​

She presented her solo work Road Not Taken at the Art Gallery of NSW.
