2020
Mitchell is a freelance dancer, creator and educator from regional NSW. He is a founding member of Sydney Experimental Arts Ensemble and a key collaborator in their upcoming work Bat Lake. He will be participating their upcoming Out of the Studio (DirtyFeet) and DAIR (Ausdance NSW) residencies.

He is a frequently collaborator with the Merce Cunnningham Trust
2019
Mitch performed in SXAE's first full-length work Old Life/ Dead Life, directed by Eliza Cooper with an original composition by Mason Peronchik. The work premiered at the Old 505 Theatre in the FreshWorks program.

He became a member of the Princeton University Research Group.
2018
He collaborated with Susan Marshall and Company as a guest artist and undertook a social media internship with the Merce Cunningham Trust.
2017
Mitchell graduated from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance (New York) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance.
He became a member of New York-based collective BIRDHOUSE and has collaborated on many projects since including All that was taken from me is still here, #12/21 and Hot Winter.

He collaborated as an apprentice with UNA Productions.
​
He performed with 2nd Best Dance Company in their site-specific work Housewarming in 2017 & 2018.

Mitchell performed as a guest artist with Doug Varone & Dancers in the US.
